Meet Evian

Evian Johnson is an 18-year-old recent high school graduate from Brookings, South Dakota, who has proudly competed within the Miss South Dakota Organization for the past four years. As a titleholder, she has spoken to numerous organizations, read to classrooms across her community, and shared her story through local news outlets. Through her pageant journey, Evian has developed confidence, leadership skills, and a passion for making a positive impact on those around her.

Inspired by her personal experiences and commitment to education, Evian is a dedicated advocate for dyslexia awareness through her community service initiative, Use Your Power. Through this platform, she works to educate others about the challenges individuals with dyslexia may face while promoting understanding, support, and access to valuable resources that help students reach their full potential. Her mission is to empower young people to embrace their unique strengths and recognize that learning differences do not define their success.

As she begins the next chapter of her educational journey at Lake Area Technical College, where she will study Surgical Technology, Evian remains committed to service, advocacy, and personal growth. She is honored to serve as Miss South Dakota’s Teen 2026 and looks forward to traveling across the state to inspire others, promote her platform, and make a meaningful difference in her community.
