We are looking for our next host city!
The South Dakota Scholarship Foundation (SDSF) Board of Directors is requesting proposals from communities across South Dakota to host the Miss South Dakota and Miss South Dakota Teen Competition in years 2028, 2029, and 2030 with a potential extension for an additional two years. The annual competition was held in Hot Springs for 71 years before moving to Brookings in 2019.
The South Dakota Scholarship Foundation has been granted the state franchise from the Miss America Organization (MAO) to hold a state competition as a preliminary to the Miss America Competition. In addition, it is awarded the rights for the Miss South Dakota Teen Competition as a preliminary to the Miss America Teen Competition at the national level.
