Kelly Wismer is the new Miss Sioux Empire Fair. She was crowned Monday on the Front Porch Stage at the W. H. Lyon Fairgrounds in Sioux Falls. Kelly will compete for the Miss South Dakota crown in Hot Springs next June.

Chris Harrison to Host Miss America |

 The Bachelor's Chris Harrison has been named host of the 2011 Miss America Pageant broadcast on ABC television. The pageant will be broadcast live from Planet
Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday, January 15 at 7
P.M. CT. The 2011 Pageant marks the 90th anniversary of the Miss
America Pageant. Previously, Harrison hosted the pageant in 2004.
"Hosting
The Miss America Pageant is a job all TV hosts dream of one day
holding,” said Harrison. “It was a thrill to make that dream come true
when I hosted the 2004 pageant. It's a true honor to be invited back to
host on such a momentous occasion as the 90th anniversary."

Miss State Fair Returns to Huron |
The South Dakota State Fair will celebrate the crowning of a new Miss
South Dakota State Fair and Miss Mural City at the State Fairgrounds in
Huron.
The pageant will be held at the Dakotaland stage at 2 p.m. on Monday,
September 6. The pageant, a preliminary to the Miss South Dakota
program is open to young women ages 17 and 24.
